Andy Williams

Andy started his career in the UK with Castrol in 1988 – joining as a sales & marketing graduate trainee. He spent 8 years in a number of roles, from retail merchandising through all the key sales channels culminating in a national account manager role. He moved with Castrol in 1997 to China to support the business start-up in a marketing and business development capacity, and following a successful 3 year assignment moved into a regional marketing role for AsPac in Hong Kong.
Following the acquisition of Castrol by BP, Andy’s role expanded to incorporate the BP & Duckhams lubricants brands, with Andy focusing on multi-brand optimisation across Asia. As head of customer management for the region, he focused on developing a clear go-to-market plan for Castrol & BP’s lubricants brands which resulted in a fully implemented sales capability programme across Asia.
After an assignment in Malaysai, Andy moved back to the UK with BP to become the General Manager Europe for the strategic alliance between BP & Ford Motor Company. He later moved to Dubai as the Commercial Vice President for Fosroc International.
Andy joined Glendinning Middle East in January 2008 having worked with Glendinning numerous times in his career as a client.
