Omar El Azizi
Senior Consultant
Omar is a seasoned business executive with 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, general management and consulting. He started his career with Xerox in Saudi and Egypt as marketing executive. Two years later, he joined Colgate Palmolive Egypt for five years in a variety of roles. He was responsible for their Capability programs’ customization and facilitation. Omar then moved to PepsiCo where he worked for 4 years across MENA in Franchise, Country Management and Regional Capability management. His capability building initiatives in Pepsi Riyadh were awarded the Best Implementation award in PepsiCo world wide.
Omar moved back to Egypt as GM for a green field dairy project where he completed all consumer and trade research in order to develop a full 10 year plan, covering products, marketing support, production capacities and HR. He later joined Danone as Commercial Director for Algeria where he implemented a conversion plan from W/S to direct distribution operation. With a wealth of experience, Omar has returned to consulting and joined the Glendinning Middle East Team in 2008.
